On the 22nd March 2003 we all made a trip to fountains abbey. The abbey was destroyed during the dissolution of the monastery's by Henry VIII in the 16th century all that remains are some impressive ruins. The abbey is owned and run by the national trust. (That dissolution link is just one that came up on a google search)

|After the gardens we stopped at the tea shop for hot chocolates and some ice cream.

|We returned home the senic route via pately bridge and Otley, on the way we ended up getting diverted because of the anti-war protestors ouside of the Menwith hill listening post. Finally Joshua assists in the editorial process by keeping me up until 01:30.
